Stephen “Reno” Benson

Reno Benson is co-founder of Anderson Benson. His career began in 1977 with Continental Insurance Company, and in 1983 he joined Polk & Sullivan Group in Nashville as a producer for commercial lines and surety. During his tenure with Polk & Sullivan Group and its successor organizations, Synaxis Group and First Horizon Insurance, Reno assumed a number of managerial roles. He was Senior Vice President of First Horizon Insurance.
Reno is an active member of the Nashville community and has served on the board of directors of Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity, The 100 Club, the Nashville Sports Council and the National Football Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Reno is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
