Steve Buzzell
Director of Marketing and Placement
Steve Buzzell is a co-founder of Anderson Benson. He is a former president of the Insurors of Tennessee, and has an Associates in Risk Management (ARM) certification from The Institutes Risk & Insurance Knowledge Group and the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) certificate from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. Steve has served on agency councils for Grange Insurance and Accident Fund of America.
Steve began his career in insurance in 1988 as a claims liaison with R.K. Carvill in London, England, where he worked closely with various underwriting syndicates within the Lloyds of London marketplace. Upon returning to the U.S., Steve joined Aetna Property & Casualty as a casualty underwriter, and in 1996 joined Polk & Sullivan Group as a commercial lines marketing specialist. In 2000, he joined the marketing practice at Willis Corroon before returning to Polk & Sullivan to head its marketing department.
Steve is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
